Today's is less about the joke, more about the art (however, for an alternate version of the joke, click here) specifically, what do you think of the art?

Some of you may recognize this as the background for a drawing of another artist's characters I did a few days ago - but what I want to know is what do you think of this art style?

That's all for now, enjoy!

I really dig it
So are you trying to permanently move out of stick figuredom?

I am - I think characters will still be anthropomorphopeople, at least until I can get better at drawing actual people quickly, and I'll do backgrounds, whenever they're complex, like this. Render a scene in 3D, trace over it, and colour.

Good to hear!
I'm slowly but surely taking stabs at drawing
My hopes are that eventually I'll have my own comic, but I gotta get the basics down first

Thanks! I mean, I'll never be on par with, for instance, Emily England, or Love Kills Slowly - but I can certainly get better than I am now!

If you do get a comic going, let me know - I'd love to give it a read. Good luck with that, too!

The artwork is great in this - I love the perspective on the airship!
