Originally, this was just the first two lines.

I expanded it because I didn't think enough people would understand the joke, and now I think it serves as an excellent example of overexplanation killing a joke.

That said, maybe there wasn't really a joke there to begin with...

Got the new lockset for my bike today. Slowly, slowly, she's becoming mine. I still need to re-do the turn signals, headlight, upper fairing, rear fairing, brake lines, clutch line, transmission case cover, oil cover, footpegs (both sets), brake calipers, seat, gas tank, instrument cluster, re-pack the exhaust, carbon-fibre-cover the exhaust and engine bars, and add auxiliary running-lights and fork-mounted highbeams (not really high, though) as well as wire in a USB powerpoint and quite possibly an attachment and power-point for heated gloves.

However, I've finished the mirrors, lockset, and all the other fairings! (When I say "finished" the fairings, I mean I pulled them off and put them in the corner)

LOL. Like, multiple jokes here. The physics one and the suicide one. Good job.

Sounds awesome! Not suicide, bike.
