Hey look! I made a movie!

Thanks to MatthewJA for pointing me at Beneton movie GIF editor, with which (and GIMP, Google, and my facebook page) I made this comic. Three points.

For those who don't get the joke, eidetidism is commonly referred to as having a "photographic memory" - though this term is misleading. Eideticism is a generally excellent storage and recall of events, often described as being able to live through an event again in one's head, in exact detail. Interestingly, visual eideticism is not the most common - audio-eidetics are far greater in numbers. I'm mainly audio, for instance, I can replay songs in my head exactly as they would be played on a CD. Or mp3 player. Or record. Or even wax cylinder.

...okay, maybe not wax cylinder.

How many people skipped the text-wall and went right to "maybe not wax cylinder"?

Anyway, enjoy!

I guess I'm audio too, considering that I can play something in my head. And when I try to play something on an instrument, at times, I won't even need the song or a metronome, I just know how it goes.
... Or am I just thinking really hard?

It's kind of an iffy line, where good memory stops and true eideticism starts...

So far as actually playing an instrument, that would be more muscle memory - which is a fairly closely related phenomenon.

I know how we could test for visual eideticism: try to tell me how many people are in the background of the picture of the books on the table.

Haha, if that's the evaluation, I fail at visual eideticism xD

No liquor beyond this point? sounds like a danger zone...

Two if you only count the girls sitting at the table in the background. Three if you count the creepy dude who is hiding under the table beneath his lunch kit...
